Description:
Virtuous is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior .NET Engineer to join their team.
The mission is to empower nonprofits with advanced responsive fundraising software that enhances giving and maximizes impact.
The role involves developing sophisticated, scalable B2B SaaS solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include product integrations, platform extensibility, and the maintenance and maturation of the API.
The engineer will work closely with external partners, product team, partnerships team, and customer success team.
Key tasks include architecting back-end services, optimizing integrations and database design, and enhancing API capabilities.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
Candidates must have senior-level software development experience with strong, recent knowledge of C# and .NET MVC.
Expertise in API development, maintenance, and versioning is required to ensure integration robustness and scalability.
Proven experience in platform extensibility and integrating software with external systems is essential.
Experience developing with modern JavaScript libraries such as React or Vue is necessary.
Candidates should have proven experience working with open-source software.
A strong understanding of design and UX best practices is required.
Experience developing against RESTful web services is necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working within a fast-paced product team.
Experience working directly with customers and partners to triage, debug, and review integrations and customer implementations is required.
