Description:

Employment Hero is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join their Payroll team as they scale their products and features.
The role involves end-to-end development for .NET applications, including maintenance, extension, and new feature development.
Responsibilities include identifying and implementing improvements to existing applications, debugging and testing code, and performing root cause analysis for application issues.
The engineer will take initiative by recommending improvements to the development process and proactively identifying application pain points.
Peer reviews of code changes and maintaining help documentation for new or updated features are also key responsibilities.
The role requires sharing knowledge and running training sessions for the support team regarding new features.
Collaboration with business stakeholders within an agile environment is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience as a .NET or .NET Core developer with C#.
Experience with SQL Server is required.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development techniques is necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a dispersed multicultural team are essential.
Knowledge of frameworks such as NHibernate, NUnit/XUnit, Castle Windsor, and JavaScript MVVM frameworks like Knockout or Vue.js is required.
Bonus qualifications include experience in the Payroll domain and exposure to AWS Cloud and tooling.
