The company is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join the VeliSports product team, which provides an omnichannel sports betting experience.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, extend, deploy, and support web service (API) applications using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.
Responsibilities include utilizing SQL Server or Postgres for database design and maintenance, implementing Memcached for performance optimization, and writing clean, maintainable code.
The engineer will debug, test, and fix issues, participate in project launches, collaborate with team members, create project documentation, and review the codebase for improvements.
Self-management and efficient workflow are essential for timely project completion.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Proven experience in C# and .NET development is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL Server and Postgres is required.
Experience with Memcached or other caching mechanisms is needed.
Familiarity with Docker and SignalR or other socket server solutions is expected.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is required.
Familiarity with command-line interactive tools (bash/zsh/cmd/Power Shell) is necessary.
A solid understanding of software development best practices is essential.
Very good understanding of source version control flows (Git) is required.
Excellent researching, problem-solving, and debugging skills are necessary.
Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are required.
Proficiency in English at a Professional Working Proficiency level is necessary.
Experience with GPM stack or alternatives is preferred.
Familiarity with AWS services and CloudFlare is required.
Understanding of computer networking and knowledge of networking protocols is necessary.
