Remote Senior Network Automation Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Network Automation Engineer will lead initiatives to ensure network reliability, security, and performance.
• Responsibilities include configuring and managing network automation tools, monitoring and optimizing network automation solutions, maintaining detailed network documentation, and providing guidance to junior engineers.
• Collaboration with vendors to select networking equipment and technologies aligned with customer objectives is required.

Requirements:

• Must have an active DoD SECRET clearance.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a network engineer with a focus on network automation.
• Expertise in routing and switching protocols, network security principles, and enterprise-grade networking equipment configuration using programming languages and automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, leadership abilities, and a DoD 8570.01-M, IAT level III certification.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, Cisco CCNP or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or DevNet preferred.
