Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Consultant with over 20 years of experience to lead the design of a world-class airport network.
This is a fully remote, USA-based, 1099 contract role offering $110 per hour with no travel required.
The project is set to kick off at the end of March 2025, and a bachelor’s degree is required.
The consultant will assist in defining the network architecture for an airport in the Middle East and support the design development of its two Data Centers' network equipment.
The consultant must ensure an agnostic design to allow bids for multiple network manufacturers and comply with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to build a scalable, resilient, and secure network infrastructure.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven experience in large-scale, high-availability network design with industry-recognized advanced-level certification.
Expertise in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), security, cloud, and data center architectures is required.
Experience with AI-driven network optimization and automation is essential.
The ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients, technology, architecture, mechanical, electrical, and project management, is necessary.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $110 with no travel required.
The role is fully remote, providing flexibility in work location.
The engagement is expected to last between 6 to 12 months, allowing for a substantial project duration.
Payment will be based on time and materials, with fees for various tasks and reimbursable expenses for international travel if required.
