Remote Senior Network Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of Network and Security Infrastructure device system software and hardware.
• They will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Network and Security Infrastructure issues in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Administer the application of company data security policies.
• Provide Network and Security Infrastructure support for all other IT functions and end users as required.
• Complete project tasks and lead small technical projects.
• Serve as a contact to vendors and make recommendations for improving system performance and uptime.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with 3 to 5 years' experience in Network and Security technologies.
• Extensive experience with Cisco network technologies including Cisco IOS and NX-OS, Cisco LAN Catalyst, Nexus, WAN ISR, and ASR products.
• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and QoS/CoS Policies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in LAN and WAN routing, spanning tree, and network health issues.
• Experience with Enterprise Ticketing systems like ServiceNow and managing incident SLA's.
• Cisco Certifications CCNP or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN, Internet, Firewalls, Proxy, DDI, PAM, NAC, and Network monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies and providers.
