Description:
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of Network and Security Infrastructure device system software and hardware.
They will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Network and Security Infrastructure issues in on-premise and cloud environments.
Administer the application of company data security policies.
Provide Network and Security Infrastructure support for all other IT functions and end users as required.
Complete project tasks and lead small technical projects.
Serve as a contact to vendors and make recommendations for improving system performance and uptime.
Evaluate and implement new technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with 3 to 5 years' experience in Network and Security technologies.
Extensive experience with Cisco network technologies including Cisco IOS and NX-OS, Cisco LAN Catalyst, Nexus, WAN ISR, and ASR products.
Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and QoS/CoS Policies.
Strong troubleshooting skills in LAN and WAN routing, spanning tree, and network health issues.
Experience with Enterprise Ticketing systems like ServiceNow and managing incident SLA's.
Cisco Certifications CCNP or equivalent preferred.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN, Internet, Firewalls, Proxy, DDI, PAM, NAC, and Network monitoring solutions.
Familiarity with Cloud technologies and providers.
