Description:
As a Senior Network Engineer at Wonders, you will work on all aspects of the company's network infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network for offices worldwide.
You will be expected to contribute to network improvements and design.
The role requires deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring all active network and VoIP equipment to ensure smooth network operation.
The mission is to design, build, and maintain the company network to ensure it remains operational, scalable, and capable of handling unexpected challenges.
Successful outcomes include achieving high SLA uptime, ensuring proper redundancy, meeting business growth demands, and effectively managing network-related incidents.
Key responsibilities involve designing and supporting network systems, monitoring network performance, performing maintenance and upgrades, providing Level-2/3 support, analyzing maintenance failures, liaising with vendors, and defining network policies.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of proven hands-on experience in a network administrator role is required.
You must have hands-on experience in networking, SDWAN, routing, switching, VoIP, and wireless technologies.
Experience configuring Ubiquiti routers using CLI is essential.
A deep understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, and route redistribution is necessary.
Knowledge of Cisco, ASA, dynamic routing, OSPF, proxy servers, web filtering, and networking (LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, MPLS) is required.
A solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model is expected.
Hands-on working knowledge of carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure, specifically hosted PBX platforms (Asterisk) and endpoint devices (Polycom, Cisco SPA), is needed.
Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools is important.
You should have excellent knowledge of best practices for managing, controlling, and monitoring server infrastructure.
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is required.
The ability to set up and configure server hardware and deployments in on-prem data centers is necessary.
Familiarity with configuring network infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform is required.
You must maintain version control of configurations using GitHub.
Experience in network setup in cloud environments such as AWS (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering) is essential.
The ability to analyze WireShark results to solve complex SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges is required.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills are necessary.
You should be a self-learner, independent, and possess outstanding problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
A BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related field is necessary.
You must be able to work night shifts and be flexible to work off hours and weekends if required.
