Remote Senior Network Engineer - Federal

Description:

• The Senior Network Engineer will be part of the Cloud Ops team responsible for maintaining the Zscaler cloud's stability and scalability.
• Responsibilities include deploying, operating, monitoring, and supporting network infrastructures in multiple Data Centers.
• The role involves working with a team of engineers and handling high-speed copper and fiber Ethernet switch networks, Layer-2 spanning-tree protocols, and Layer-3 BGP protocols.
• The position requires experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting for large-scale Enterprise or Telecom networks.
• The Senior Network Engineer will report to the Manager, Network Engineering.

Requirements:

• US citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• Experience with ticketing and inventory systems is necessary.
• Proficiency in remote Data Center operations is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in high-speed copper and fiber Ethernet switch networks, Layer-2 spanning-tree protocols, and Layer-3 BGP protocols is essential.
• Hands-on experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting in both IPv4 and IPv6 for large-scale Enterprise networks or Telecom networks is a must.
