Remote Senior Network Engineer-Federal

Description:

• The Senior Network Engineer will work with a team of engineers to deploy, operate, monitor, and support network infrastructures inside multiple datacenters.
• This role involves being the L3 technical escalation contact for high severity/critical incidents.
• The engineer will conduct peer reviews (4-Eye check) on configuration/change scripts to ensure validity.
• Providing technical guidance to the team on network technical domains is a key responsibility.
• Participation in on-call rotation is required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role.
• Candidates must have experience working with ticketing and inventory systems in remote Data Center operations.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience with high-speed copper and fiber Ethernet switch networks, including Layer-2 spanning-tree protocols and Layer-3 BGP protocols, is necessary.
• Hands-on experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting in both IPv4 and IPv6 for large-scale Enterprise or Telecom networks is essential.
