Description:

The position is for a Senior Network Engineer working in US IT Services on a home-based arrangement.
The salary ranges from P110,000 to P140,000 monthly.
The work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Timezone.
Responsibilities include Level 1-3 systems/network troubleshooting and helpdesk support work.
The role involves daily hands-on interaction with networks, systems, cloud, voice, and users.
The engineer will assist senior engineers with support and projects.
A major role includes monitoring and managing customers in a multi-tenant client NOC.
The engineer will be part of a team maintaining proper managed services monitoring.
Responsibilities also include onboarding new client network infrastructure and closely following changes in client systems to reflect on the monitoring platform.
The engineer will monitor active issues and alert client-side personnel, as well as troubleshoot and escalate issues as necessary.
The position requires fulfilling a certification and training roadmap as set forth by senior staff and management.
The engineer may need to work outside of standard business hours for scheduled firmware updates.

Requirements:

Candidates must have skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware (i.e., ESXi, vCenter), storage (i.e., SANs), Azure virtual machines, storage, and networking, as well as AWS EC2, EBS, and VPC.
It is preferred that candidates have industry certifications, specifically in HPE, AWS, Azure, Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, and VMware.
Experience with VDI, specifically Citrix, is a nice-to-have.
Candidates should have Linux server experience with Ubuntu Server, RedHat, and CentOS.
Knowledge of switching and routing technologies, specifically Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba, is also preferred.
Familiarity with NAC technologies, specifically Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, and Microsoft NPS, is a plus.
