Description:

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network security infrastructure.
The role requires a strong background in network security and proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.
You will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures for cloud environments.
The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high levels of security and compliance for network architecture.
You will support the architecture, design, implementation, and operations of the company network and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities include managing critical incidents, delivering consistent network operations, and providing technical leadership to junior team members.
You will design and manage secure network solutions, configure and secure networking services in cloud platforms, and monitor cloud network activity for security threats.
The role includes conducting regular network security assessments and developing network security policies and guidelines.
You will maintain documentation of network security architectures and troubleshoot complex network security issues.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required.
You must have 7+ years of experience in network security engineering or related roles, including cloud networking and security.
Expertise in securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
Hands-on experience with network security tools, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS, is required.
Familiarity with network security monitoring tools and incident response is necessary.
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for networking automation is preferred.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or CCNP Security are highly desirable.
