Remote Senior Node.js & Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Full-time role for 40 contracted hours per week
• Salary range of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum
• Hybrid team based throughout the UK
• Flexibility to work outside the UK up to 90 days per year
• Must work and live permanently within the UK
• Travel to London weekly for team meetings
• Isla enables healthcare systems to deliver next-level healthcare through a technology platform
• Platform provides clinicians with continuous clinical information from patients
• Approved by NHS Digital as a cloud storage solution
• Work directly with Engineers and Founders for professional development
• Tech stack includes GCP, Node.js, Typescript, Angular, REST/GQL APIs, Terraform, Jest, NoSQL databases
• Responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions
• Lead technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Build and mentor a high-caliber engineering team
• Tasks include platform development, cloud infrastructure management, international rollouts, and product strategy contribution
