Remote Senior NodeJS Developer | LATAM

Description:

• The Senior Node.js Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• They will implement and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, automating the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development and production environments.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Ruby or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
