Description:

• The Senior Node.js Engineer position at 3Pillar involves collaborating with industry leaders on transformative projects in various sectors such as urban living, media, and healthcare.
• Responsibilities include effective communication with client stakeholders, crafting efficient and high-quality client code, accurate planning and estimation, gathering requirements, and engaging in agile software development.
• The role also entails promoting client success by collaborating with team members, participating in the Engineering Practice community, and driving project delivery within defined architecture.
• Minimum qualifications include expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, utilizing serverless services like AWS Lambda and API Gateway, optimizing system performance, and mentoring junior team members.
• Additional desired experience involves optimizing backend performance, familiarity with frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Requirements:

• Experience/expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Proficiency in utilizing serverless services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or RDS for robust backend infrastructure.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical requirements.
• Ability to optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Mentorship of junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth.
• Stay updated with the latest Node.js and AWS technologies.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles and high-level design proficiency.
• Practice and initiative in mentoring other engineers and decision-makers.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles, familiarity with OWASP, and proficiency in the English language.
• Additional experience desired includes optimizing backend performance, familiarity with frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
