The position is for a Senior NodeJS Engineer working remotely in Europe.
You will join and work on the book editing tool at Reedsy.
Responsibilities include working closely with designers and engineers to design, build, and ship new features from scratch.
You will extend the growing feature set of a cutting-edge, collaborative word processor.
The role involves delivering real value to users by crafting beautiful book templates for e-readers and print.
You will architect and develop highly scalable web applications.
The position requires evaluating and improving the performance, durability, and security of applications in production.
You will take ownership of your tasks and see features through from start to finish.
Helping teammates improve through work reviews and appreciating feedback is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Professional experience with NodeJS and NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB is required.
A strong test-driven approach to development is necessary.
Candidates must be perfectly fluent in English.
Enjoyment of remote work is essential.
