Remote Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Description:

• ProArch, a leading technology company, is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join their team in Hyderabad.
• The Oracle DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases across multiple environments.
• Responsibilities include database performance, integrity, security, migration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and scripting.
• The role involves installations, upgrades, patching, backup and recovery, monitoring, and configuration of Oracle databases.
• The DBA will work closely with other teams to support application development and deployment.
• The position requires staying up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts, architecture, and Multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB.
• Proficiency in Oracle 19c, performance tuning, optimization, patching, and Big File Table spaces.
• Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Bash, backup and recovery operations, and Golden Gate is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
