Description:
The Senior Partner Engineer/Architect will join the Palo Alto Networks Technology Partnerships Team (TPT) focusing on the STRATA (NGFW and CDSS) product family.
The role requires a candidate who is 80% hands-on technical and 20% business-oriented, possessing an architectural mindset and staying current on technology trends.
Responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing key partners, evaluating integration feasibility, and developing technical value propositions aligned with product strategy.
The candidate will collaborate with product management, product marketing management, and technical marketing engineers to create joint value propositions and technology blueprints.
They will lead efforts in defining solution architectures, design guides, and technical enablement plans, while also interpreting partner requirements for internal teams.
The role involves ensuring partners have access to trial licenses, creating materials for partner field teams, and driving go-to-market strategies.
The candidate will build and educate partner teams on the STRATA platform value proposition and work collaboratively with various teams to drive revenue and growth.
Requirements:
A strong understanding of tech partnerships and their value propositions within the STRATA product technology stack is essential.
Candidates should have a background in network and security, preferably with experience in NGFW and CDSS, as well as knowledge of AI, OT, IoT, and Quantum architectures.
The ability to conduct technology workshops and communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams is required.
A solid understanding of APIs, logs, JSON, and hands-on coding/scripting skills are necessary.
Candidates must be high-energy, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are crucial, as the role involves representing Palo Alto Networks with various vendors and partners.
Experience in a cybersecurity vendor, consultancy, or reseller is preferred, along with fluency in English.
Extra points for experience with existing technology partners, AI LLMs, NOC/SOC processes, and the ability to defend technology investments.

The compensation for this position ranges from $148,200 to $239,600 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
The offered compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
