Description:
The Senior Partner Engineer/Architect will join the Palo Alto Networks Technology Partnerships Team (TPT) focusing on the STRATA (NGFW and CDSS) product family.
The role requires a motivated, intelligent, hardworking, and creative candidate who is 80% hands-on technical and 20% business-oriented.
Responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing key partners, evaluating integration feasibility, and developing technical value propositions aligned with product strategy.
The candidate will collaborate with product management, product marketing management, and technical marketing engineers to create joint value propositions and technology blueprints.
They will lead efforts in defining solution architectures, design and implementation guides, and technical enablement plans.
The role involves ensuring partners have access to trial licenses, creating materials for partner field teams, and driving go-to-market strategies.
The candidate will build and educate partner teams on the STRATA platform value proposition and work collaboratively with various teams to drive revenue and growth.
Requirements:
A strong understanding of tech partnerships and their value propositions within the STRATA product technology stack is essential.
A background in network and security, preferably with experience in NGFW and CDSS, along with knowledge of AI, OT, IoT, and Quantum architectures is required.
The candidate must be able to conduct technology workshops and handle in-depth technology questions.
Solid understanding of APIs, logs, JSON, and the ability to engage in coding and scripting is necessary.
High energy, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are required to represent Palo Alto Networks effectively.
Experience in a cybersecurity vendor, consultancy, or reseller is preferred, along with fluency in English.
Extra points for experience with existing technology partners, AI LLMs, NOC and SOC processes, and the ability to defend technology investments.
Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $148,200 to $239,600 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
The offered compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
