The Senior Performance Engineer will focus on the scalability and performance of Veeva’s products and create meaningful benchmarks that address customer use cases.
This role involves testing and optimizing Veeva’s CDMS software prior to its release and monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues in production.
The engineer will collaborate with product management to understand usage patterns and will be responsible for gathering and analyzing performance data to identify bottlenecks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in Performance Engineering and Benchmarking.
Proficiency in Java, MySQL, and scripting tools such as Python and Shell scripting is required.
Extensive hands-on experience with performance engineering tools, including JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools, as well as profiling tools is necessary.
The ability to identify the root cause of performance bottlenecks using profiling tools is essential.
Candidates should be experts in distributed computing systems and stack.
Comfort with Linux, Docker, AWS, GIT, and Artifactory in terms of tools and systems administration is required.
Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of improving team performance are sought.
