The Senior Performance Engineer will focus on the scalability and performance of Veeva Vault Clinical & Digital Trials applications.
Responsibilities include defining, developing, and achieving performance/scalability benchmarks, collaborating with the engineering team to solve performance problems, and monitoring production performance.
The role requires gathering and analyzing performance data to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Performance Engineering and Benchmarking.
Proficiency in Java, MySQL, and scripting tools such as Python and Shell scripting is required.
Extensive hands-on experience with performance engineering tools, including JMeter or similar tools, as well as profiling tools is necessary.
The ability to find the root cause of performance bottlenecks using profiling tools is essential.
Candidates should be experts in distributed computing systems and stack.
Comfort with Linux, Docker, AWS, GIT, and Artifactory in terms of tools and systems administration is required.
Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of improving team performance are sought.
