Remote Senior PHP Developer

Description:

• The Senior PHP Developer position at Eye Care Leaders involves tackling complex problems with innovative solutions, designing and developing high-quality PHP applications, conducting unit testing, refactoring legacy code, performing code reviews, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with PHP, a deep understanding of frameworks like Laravel and Symfony, and a strong background in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• They must stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• This role requires working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in PHP and its frameworks, expertise in unit testing, and experience in refactoring legacy code.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, familiarity with other programming languages and technologies, and experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, version control systems like Git, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
