Description:

The company is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join their remote team in Warsaw, which consists of over 500 professionals.
The role involves developing complex products with high coding standards and maintaining the company's infrastructure while handling petabytes of data.

Daily responsibilities include managing technical debt, implementing code quality standards, guiding the backend team, participating in grooming sessions, designing new features, defining product architecture, and researching new technologies.
The developer will be responsible for presenting and defending architectural and technical decisions to the company's Product Engineers and technical managers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have deep knowledge of PHP and the Symfony framework.
A good understanding of PHPUnit or other automated testing technologies is required.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and RESTful APIs.
Strong skills in software architecture and design patterns are necessary.
Good knowledge of any message queue management system is required.
Experience with microservices architecture is essential.
Candidates should have experience in mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level developers.
Being a team player and possessing good communication skills within and outside the team is important.
A motivation to work with complex solutions is required.
At least a basic understanding of Kubernetes is necessary.

Nice to have:

Previous experience leading a software development team or a desire to do so is preferred.
Experience with Scrum methodology is a plus.
Hands-on experience with the Go programming language is advantageous.
