Remote Senior PHP Developer/Performance optimization

Description:

• The Senior PHP Developer/Performance optimization position at CloudLinux involves being part of the CL PRO Team, focusing on diagnosing and optimizing WordPress sites, advanced automation, performance analytics, and monitoring tools.
• Responsibilities include creating software to optimize WordPress websites, analyzing and debugging plugins, and developing new plugins.
• CloudLinux OS, the flagship product, is used on over 50,000 production servers, powering more than 40 million websites, known for its security and efficiency in shared hosting environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of PHP experience, strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Understanding of optimization principles for frontend (cdn, ccss, http2 push, esi) and backend (sql, refactoring, apache, opcache).
• Strong experience in developing/debugging WordPress plugins and maintaining WP, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis/Memcached, Apache/Nginx.
• Practice in automation testing, knowledge of regular expressions, power-user Linux skills, and proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with version control (git), experience in Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Vagrant, and managing CMS like Joomla, Drupal.
