Remote Senior PHP Engineer (Core team)

Description:

• The Senior PHP Engineer will be part of the NordLayer Core Team, which builds a key internal product that powers the NordLayer ecosystem.
• The team designs and maintains a management tool for all VPN servers, providing a robust UI and API for other Web Teams while collaborating closely with the VPN infrastructure team.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with the Core team to deliver fully functional features, creating enjoyable APIs for developers, providing technical mentorship, contributing to technical design decisions, participating in task grooming, writing clear and documented code, and maintaining the existing code base while adding new functionality.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience working with PHP.
• Fluency in Symfony is required.
• Previous experience in building highly scalable systems is necessary.
• A solid understanding of OOP principles and good code design is essential.
• Knowledge of API design is required.
• Good knowledge and experience with MySQL is necessary.
• Familiarity with Git is expected.
