Description:

The Senior Platform Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable platforms supporting the technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes-based deployments in Azure, AWS, and air-gapped/edge environments.
Utilize GitOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies, create CI/CD pipelines, manage data streaming platforms like Kafka, monitor system health with Prometheus and Grafana, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
Implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability, guide developer teams, and ensure the best possible developer experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of cloud engineering and DevSecOps experience with a focus on Kubernetes deployments.
Strong expertise in managing cloud services in Azure and AWS, experience with air-gapped or edge environments, and proficiency in GitOps and Continuous Delivery.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, experience in Python or Java, and familiarity with various technologies like Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Postgres, Clickhouse, and Redis.
