Magnet Forensics is seeking a talented Senior Platform Engineer to join their team responsible for developing the next generation of digital forensics products.
The role involves enhancing collaboration among various stakeholders in the agency organization.
Responsibilities include participating in support calls with customers and the professional services team for timely issue resolution, troubleshooting customer environment problems, adapting to changes based on business and customer needs, establishing best practices for deployment models, and communicating knowledge and building consensus across the organization.
The position also involves providing mentorship within and outside the team, advocating for improvements in processes, tools, and architecture, and measuring the performance of on-prem storage systems.
Desired skills include experience in high-security environments and generating effective project documentation.

Requirements:

Expertise in designing and measuring the performance of on-prem storage systems such as JBOD, Dell PowerVault, Dell Unity, VMWare SAN, etc.
Proficiency in networking design and protocols like S3, iSCSI.
3+ years of experience with Python and/or Go.
3+ years of experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
Experience working with Cloud Providers like AWS and Azure.
Proficiency in Linux shell scripting.
Proficiency in using Git-based version control systems.
