Description:
- The Senior Platform Engineer position at Conduit involves establishing and leading the Platform Engineering team to enhance site reliability, cloud, and DevOps functions.
- Responsibilities include architecting and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS for high availability, scalability, and security.
- The role entails designing and managing infrastructure using Terraform, leading incident response efforts, implementing monitoring systems with Datadog, and building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- The Senior Platform Engineer will work on containerized environments with Docker, collaborate with development teams, and ensure security best practices across infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering, with expertise in AWS, Terraform, Docker, GitLab, and Datadog.
- Proficiency in AWS services, infrastructure as code, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, automation principles, and communication abilities.
- Experience leading projects within a team and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have: experience in high-growth startups, fintech, and AWS certifications.
