Remote Senior Platform Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions.
• They will manage and monitor cloud infrastructures for optimal performance and cost-efficiency, automating deployments with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
• Ensuring data protection, compliance, and disaster recovery planning, as well as collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services.
• The role involves conducting legacy system migrations, managing security and access controls, and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated data protection practices.
• The Senior Platform Engineer will support cloud adoption, ensure performance standards, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for technical escalations.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure Cloud.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud platforms.
• Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions, Agile framework, and IaC development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible.
• Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling.
• Fluency in English and experience in banking/fintech projects.
