Remote Senior Platform Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Platform Engineer position at FIS Global in Bogotá, Colombia is a full-time role that involves collaborating with the team to enable and accelerate enterprise Continuous Delivery.
• The team operates in public clouds such as AWS, Azure, and Google, building best-in-class platforms and tools to support hundreds of business applications.
• Responsibilities include architecting, developing, and debugging platforms to accelerate cloud adoption, continuous integration, and delivery.
• The role also involves designing new solutions, building secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, mentoring other engineers, and working within an agile team practicing scrum ceremonies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree is desired for this role.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, programming languages like Golang, Groovy, and Python, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code processes are required.
• Practical work experience with AWS or Azure is necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting is a must.
