Description:
The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to architect the digital backbone of their feature-rich ticketing platform.
The role involves designing and maintaining resilient systems to power innovative solutions in a customer-driven company.
Responsibilities include overseeing the entire company infrastructure, optimizing performance, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining website uptime.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, proficiency in PostgreSQL, fluency in Node.js, and expertise in server infrastructure.
Additional responsibilities include implementing and maintaining robust security measures, improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency, and working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi.
Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.
Requirements:
Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments, is necessary.
Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, is essential. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is also acceptable.
A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers, is required.
Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript, is necessary.
Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability is a requirement.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Pulumi, is preferred.
Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
