Description:

  • The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to architect the digital backbone of their feature-rich ticketing platform.
  • The role involves designing and maintaining resilient systems to power innovative solutions in a customer-driven company.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing the entire company infrastructure, optimizing performance, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining website uptime.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, proficiency in PostgreSQL, fluency in Node.js, and expertise in server infrastructure.
  • Additional responsibilities include implementing and maintaining robust security measures, improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency, and working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi.
  • Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments, is necessary.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, is essential. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is also acceptable.
  • A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers, is required.
  • Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript, is necessary.
  • Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability is a requirement.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Pulumi, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
