DiligenceVault is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer & Analytics Engineer to join their remote team.
The role involves extensive experience in SQL, Power BI, and business intelligence solution development.
The ideal candidate will create impactful, insightful, and visually compelling dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include visually displaying insights for decision-making, performing end-to-end implementation of Power BI projects, and building and maintaining dashboards for clients and internal use.
The candidate will identify and troubleshoot UX/UI problems, understand users' business processes, and translate them into data visualizations.
The role also involves working with embedded applications, implementing Power BI REST APIs, and designing complex stored procedures based on dashboard requirements.
Ad-hoc data analysis projects and managing data security through routine QA testing are also part of the responsibilities.
Candidates must provide a portfolio of dashboard work and complete a dashboard development Proof of Concept during the interview process.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience working with MS-SQL Server and Power BI is required.
Strong SQL Server Database knowledge and experience in writing and debugging queries, as well as writing complex stored procedures, is essential.
Candidates should have experience in database management and knowledge related to database performance issues with the ability to provide solutions.
Experience in an Azure cloud environment (ADF, ADLS, Analysis Services, and Azure SQL) is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft's Power BI and Power Pivot, as well as DAX query language, is required.
Advanced data modeling skills and critical thinking to solve complex user feedback requests are necessary.
The ability to communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders is important.
Experience in the investment management or fintech industry is a plus.
