Description:

DiligenceVault is seeking a highly skilled Power BI and Database Specialist with extensive experience in SQL, Power BI, and business intelligence solution development.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating impactful, insightful, and visually compelling dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include visually displaying insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner, performing end-to-end implementation of Power BI projects, and building, designing, and maintaining dashboards for clients and internal use.
The role also involves identifying and troubleshooting UX/UI problems, understanding users' business processes, and translating them into data visualizations.
Candidates will work with embedded applications, implement Power BI REST APIs, and design complex Stored Procedures based on dashboard requirements.
Ad-hoc data analysis projects and managing data security through routine QA testing and troubleshooting are also part of the responsibilities.
An interview requirement includes providing a portfolio of dashboard work and completing a dashboard development Proof of Concept.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience working with MS-SQL Server and Power BI is required.
Strong SQL Server Database knowledge and experience writing and debugging queries, as well as writing complex Stored Procedures, is definitely required.
Candidates should have database management experience and knowledge related to database performance issues with the ability to provide solutions.
Experience in an Azure cloud environment (ADF, ADLS, Analysis Services, and Azure SQL) is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft's Power BI and Power Pivot, as well as DAX query language, is necessary.
Advanced data modeling skills and critical thinking to solve complex user feedback requests are essential.
The ability to communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders is required.
Experience in the investment management or fintech industry is a plus.
