Description:

StrongDM is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to work remotely in Germany.
The role involves collaborating with the Sales team to demonstrate the value of StrongDM's solutions to prospects and customers.
You will act as a trusted advisor on modern privileged access management, working closely with account executives and partners.
Responsibilities include positioning StrongDM against competitors, defining capabilities to meet business objectives, and owning the technical win through effective demonstrations and proof of value.
You will manage proof of value trials, coordinate with various teams to address technical issues, and serve as the technical voice for security and compliance matters.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong enthusiasm for technology and cybersecurity.
A willingness to learn new technologies, including kubectl, is essential.
Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) and related technologies such as Cyberark and Teleport is required.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and Identity Providers is necessary.
Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in security features and identity management, is important.
Candidates should understand cloud and on-prem networking models, network security, and virtualization.
Programming experience in languages such as NodeJS, Ruby, or Python is preferred.
Strong analytical and consultative skills are required, with the ability to present technical subjects to diverse audiences.
Experience in a tech startup or high-velocity growth culture is a plus.
Candidates must be located in Germany and fluent in German.

The position offers a competitive compensation package with an OTE of $250,000 to $280,000, structured as a 70/30 split.
Equity salary packages are included as part of the compensation.
