Description:

StrongDM is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join their remote team in the UK.
The role involves working closely with the Sales team to demonstrate the value of StrongDM's solutions to prospects and customers.
The engineer will act as a trusted advisor on modern privileged access management, collaborating with account executives and partners.
Responsibilities include positioning StrongDM against competitors, defining capabilities to meet business objectives, and owning the technical win through effective demonstrations and proof of value.
The engineer will manage proof of value trials, coordinate with various teams to address technical issues, and serve as the technical voice for security and compliance matters.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong enthusiasm for technology and cybersecurity.
A willingness to learn new technologies, even if unfamiliar at the start, is essential.
Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as Cyberark and Teleport is required.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and Identity Providers like Okta and Azure AD is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in security features and identity management, is important.
Knowledge of networking models, network security, and cloud computing is expected.
Programming experience in languages like NodeJS, Ruby, or Python is preferred.
Strong discovery skills to ask insightful questions and uncover pain points are essential.
Ability to present technical information engagingly to diverse audiences is required.
Analytical skills to interpret information and design scalable solutions are necessary.
Experience in a tech startup or high-velocity growth culture is a plus.

The position offers a competitive compensation package with an OTE of £190,000 - £210,000, structured as a 70/30 split.
Employees will receive equity as part of their compensation.
