Remote Senior Principal Electrical Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, design, and product teams to develop technology for Owl Labs' products.
• Responsibilities include adding new features to existing applications, building a component library for a consistent user experience, creating new applications for hardware platforms, adding IoT functionality, integrating with third-party vendors, and automating infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
• The role involves daily engineering tasks such as working on hardware products, cloud endpoints, and third-party integrations.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or a strong portfolio of web-based applications.
• 5+ years of experience building platforms on AWS or similar cloud services and developing frontends for applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in NodeJS, Electron, React, SQL, and No-SQL data stores.
• Ability to design and build applications from scratch, work with existing code bases, and adapt to new environments and frameworks.
• Strong communication skills, appreciation for documentation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with cloudformation, terraform, React Native, Electron, NodeJS, Honeycomb, PostgreSQL, Redis, and mobile development (Android/iOS).
