Remote Senior / Principal Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails, React)

Description:

• Form Health is a telehealth company that provides medical treatment for obesity to individuals in the United States.
• The company offers a medically-supervised weight loss program through virtual MD visits, interactions with Registered Dietitians, group interactions, meal tracking, and more via a secure mobile app.
• They are seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, Node (AWS Lambda), GraphQL, and ReactJS.
• Responsibilities include developing back-end services and clinical tools, supporting rapid iteration of a telemedicine product, collaborating with other developers and stakeholders, and informing technical and architectural decisions.
• The engineer will work on improving infrastructure, GraphQL APIs, data modeling, integrations, and other services to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, Node (AWS Lambda), GraphQL, and ReactJS.
• Ability to collaborate with different teams including native mobile, web, back-end/full-stack, and data engineers.
• Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders and support rapid iteration of internal tools.
• Capability to inform technical, product, process, hiring, and architectural decisions.
• Proficiency in improving infrastructure, GraphQL APIs, data modeling, integrations, and other services.
