Description:
The Senior Product Data Analyst will support the Product organization with a focus on Product-Lead-Growth (PLG) initiatives and other Product team-driven priorities.
The role involves curating data, uncovering insights, and creating dashboards to help stakeholders understand business operations.
The analyst will act as a consultant and trusted advisor, particularly to the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams, to improve product and customer experience.
Responsibilities include owning the Product Analytics data catalogue, reviewing the PLG customer journey, and improving data quality for a clean PLG channel dashboard.
The analyst will study existing product analytics to identify key moments that drive desired outcomes and collaborate with the Growth squad on experiments to enhance customer onboarding.
The role requires understanding the impact of product changes on retention and customer experience, as well as solving other data problems as needed.
The work environment emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and effective communication, with a preference for candidates based in UTC -4 to -7.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of data analysis experience, utilizing descriptive and predictive data techniques.
A minimum of 4 years of experience focused on feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion and retention, segmentation, and user archetypes is required.
At least 2 years of experience supporting product teams and uncovering data insights to form hypotheses and design product experiments is necessary.
Experience with Product Analytics tools like Mixpanel and Amplitude is essential, along with the ability to communicate complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
Fluency in SQL and experience with dbt for data transformation is required.
Ideal candidates will have experience with tools in the company’s stack, such as dbt, Mixpanel, Snowflake, Sigma, Stitch Data, and Customer.io Data Pipelines, as well as data from CRM and payment applications.
