Description:

Ramp is seeking a Product Data Scientist to join the Financial Intelligence team, focusing on building foundational data products and workflows that enhance decision-making and efficiency within Ramp’s financial ecosystem.
The role involves partnering with Capital Markets, Treasury, Internal Finance, and Accounting stakeholders to deliver insights, forecast key metrics, and create early-stage products that improve internal processes and influence customer-facing products.
Responsibilities include leading data science initiatives, such as forecasting over $2B in monthly cash inflows and outflows, building internal tools to improve operations, and developing critical data products for lenders.
The candidate will engage in full-stack product data science development, collaborating with product, engineering, data, and design teams to develop product roadmaps and measure success.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong knowledge of SQL, preferably with Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and be able to write efficient SQL queries.
Proficiency in Python is required, with proven experience in building and implementing time series forecasting.
Experience in building data pipelines and workflows that support internal teams and scale across business domains is essential.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Mode, or Tableau is necessary, along with experience in distributing data insights via reports and dashboards.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly improving start-up environment focused on solving problems with iterative technical solutions is crucial.
