Description:

The Senior Product Security Engineer will collaborate across product teams to enhance the product security program and ensure secure software development.
This role involves crafting and implementing security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, from design to production.
The engineer will embed with product teams, attend regular meetings, and build relationships with key partners.
Responsibilities include serving as the security authority for products, ensuring corporate security controls are effective, and mentoring team members.
The role requires engaging in threat modeling, attack surface analysis, and assisting in continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience securing enterprise-grade web applications and services, with expertise in threat modeling and attack surface analysis.
A solid understanding of programming languages such as Ruby, Javascript, and Go is required.
Strong experience with web application security issues and standards, including OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25, is essential.
Understanding and experience with securing public cloud deployments, including AWS and/or Azure, and serverless architecture is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as GitHub, Travis CI, CircleCI, Docker, and Kubernetes, is required.
A strong foundation in core information security principles and concepts, such as encryption and authentication, is needed.
Experience with automated application security tools and technologies, including SAST, DAST, and SCA, is important.
Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to explain complex security topics in simple terms.

The targeted base salary range for this position is $138,400 - $170,000, with bonus eligibility and equity based on experience.
