As a Senior Prompt Engineer, you will design, test, and iterate on prompt structures to optimize outputs from large language models (LLMs).
You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to tailor AI responses that meet business requirements and improve user experience.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing LLM applications, conducting vulnerability assessments, refining natural language prompts, analyzing model behavior, and integrating LLM capabilities into platforms.
You will also develop documentation and training materials, create data creation and vulnerability testing scripts, and lead R&D efforts in prompt engineering.

Requirements:

A B.S. or higher in a quantitative field or a field related to language models such as linguistics, philosophy, or AI is required.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript for writing API-enabled scripts and automating tasks is necessary.
Hands-on experience with frontier-scale LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, PaLM) applied programmatically is essential.
Familiarity with model evaluation metrics such as BLUE, ROUGE, and MAUVE, along with proficiency in analyzing and visualizing model performance data, is required.
Experience in building LLM-based applications or hacking LLMs to solve novel problems is needed.
A strong understanding of NLP and language model behavior, particularly in prompt engineering, is crucial.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A creative mindset and strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for improving human-computer interaction, are important.
