Description:

OP Labs is seeking a Senior Protocol Security Engineer to lead incident response efforts for the Superchain.
The role involves building tooling and platforms to detect and respond to security incidents within the Superchain.
Responsibilities include improving Deployment Safety tooling and infrastructure, enhancing DevSecOps efforts, and collaborating with various engineering teams to support smart contract security best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a software or security engineering role.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in protocol and smart contract security is required.
Deep knowledge of Ethereum and the EVM is essential.
Prior experience in deployment safety for a large protocol is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include experience developing DevSecOps platforms for production-grade smart contract development and contributing to open source projects related to smart contract security.
Candidates should have experience breaking complex smart contract and client systems into modular components to limit security vulnerabilities.
Excellent written communication skills are required, with the ability to create clear and concise documents.
Attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to identify and triage issues effectively.
Candidates must demonstrate high agency, proactively identifying and addressing issues without needing extensive guidance.
