• The OP Labs security team is seeking a Senior Protocol Security Engineer to lead incident response efforts for the Superchain.
• The role involves building tooling and platforms to detect and respond to security incidents within the Superchain.
• Responsibilities include improving Deployment Safety tooling and infrastructure, enhancing DevSecOps efforts, and collaborating with various engineering teams to support smart contract security best practices.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a software or security engineering role.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in protocol and smart contract security is required.
• Deep knowledge of Ethereum and the EVM is essential.
• Prior experience in deployment safety for a large protocol is necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in developing DevSecOps platforms for smart contract development and contributing to open source projects related to smart contract security.
• Candidates should have experience in modularizing complex smart contract systems to limit security vulnerabilities.
• Excellent written communication skills are required, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
• Attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to identify and triage issues effectively.
