Description:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Python for a price comparison website
• Set up, configure, and maintain OpenSearch clusters for high availability and reliability
• Lead backend development efforts to ensure efficiency, security, and scalability
• Design, implement, and manage PostgreSQL databases
• Configure and manage Nginx server environments for robust and secure setups
• Focus on performance optimization, uptime, and troubleshooting third-party APIs
• Inherit and lead an established codebase, making informed decisions for future development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, work independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of developer experience
• At least 5 years of Python experience in a backend role
• Minimum 1 year of OpenSearch or Elasticsearch experience
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL, including performance tuning and complex query development
• Experience with setting up, configuring, and maintaining OpenSearch clusters
• Working knowledge of third-party APIs, integration, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
