Description:

  • Koombea is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their team remotely in LATAM.
  • The role requires building application models and coding the logic behind user-facing components and databases of web apps.
  • Responsibilities include developing and integrating both user-facing and server-side components, implementing advanced thread management and server optimization techniques, and building and deploying LLM flows with tools such as Haystack.
  • The developer will apply Chain of Thought/Tree methods for LLM reasoning and improved response generation, develop reusable code and libraries for scalable solutions, and ensure security and data protection across server interactions.
  • The position also involves coding solutions that mimic interactions with external systems and deploying and managing applications using Docker.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in server-side development with OOP.
  • Strong experience in Java server development and at least 3 years of recent Python experience is necessary.
  • Expertise in thread management, optimizations, and large application performance is essential.
  • Experience in LLM pipelines beyond RAG, focusing on cross-validation and self-reflection techniques is required.
  • Familiarity with Docker and deployment best practices is needed.
  • Candidates should have experience developing interaction-based code with external systems.
  • Fluent English (C1 level) is required for client and team communication.
  • An Agile/Scrum mentality and strong teamwork skills are important.
  • Candidates should be open-minded, flexible, and adaptable to project needs, with good communication skills.
