• You will work with a team focused on internal Firm GenAI initiatives, which is distributed across multiple locations, including North America, Europe, and Latin America.
• The team is dedicated to advancing the capabilities and applications of Generative AI within the firm, driving innovation, and delivering impactful AI solutions.
• Your responsibilities will include leading a diverse group of engineers to advance internal Firm GenAI initiatives, focusing on revolutionizing processes such as meeting scheduling, invoicing, and time management with cutting-edge software.
• You will bridge the development team and the broader project ecosystem, driving the creation of new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
• Your role will involve developing, supporting, maintaining, and implementing complex software components, and solving novel problems using standard programming concepts and principles.
• You will deploy, configure, and manage applications on the AWS cloud platform, handling resource provisioning, infrastructure as code, and performance optimization.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues, debugging code, troubleshooting infrastructure problems, and enhancing performance will be part of your duties.
• You will uphold software engineering best practices, ensuring adherence to architectural strategies, standards, and roadmaps, while your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in driving the success of the project team.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of extensive IT experience, with a strong command of backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and knowledge of popular REST frameworks like FastAPI or Flask is essential.
• Experience with additional programming languages such as C# or Elixir is a plus.
• You should have expertise with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL or cloud equivalents such as Amazon RDS.
• Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure, including deploying and managing applications on these platforms, is required.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is necessary.
• You should understand novel generative artificial intelligence systems and processes, with the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
• Experience with Bolt for Slack or Outlook plugin systems is a plus.
• You should have experience in leading, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and code collaboration is required.
• You will need to collaborate with product teams and tech leaders to define clear specifications for the team to develop.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher is necessary.
