Description:

This is a contract position for those based in Brazil, with an initial contract duration of 7 weeks and the potential for extension.

Responsibilities include building server-side components of applications and ensuring high-quality output within specific timeframes.
The position requires designing and building cloud-based applications using server-side technologies such as Python/Django and Postgres.
The developer will support system design, development, and maintenance while taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team.
The role includes assisting with defining structured practices, particularly in source code management, building, and deployment.
The developer will design and implement data storage solutions and optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
Gathering feedback from users and clients to build tailored solutions is also part of the job.
The position involves assisting with the analysis of client requirements and collaborating with internal and client teams.

Requirements:

Proficient communication in English, both oral and written, along with excellent communication skills is required.
Candidates must have experience delivering at a Senior Developer level in an enterprise and agile environment.
A deep understanding of server-side code and experience developing in Python is essential.
Experience utilizing Postgres and/or MongoDB is required.
Familiarity with cloud technologies is necessary.
A deep understanding of modern testing methodologies, tools, and practices is expected.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of version control tools, including Git.
Understanding of security and performance considerations is required.
Knowledge of deployment tools and systems integration is necessary.
Empathy and strong collaboration skills are essential for this role.
Optional experience includes familiarity with Node.js for backend development and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Gemini.
