Remote Senior Python Developer (worldwide remote, work anywhere)

Description:

• As a Senior Python Developer at KernelCare, you will be responsible for developing the cutting-edge KernelCare products using Python.
• You will ensure code quality by writing comprehensive unit tests with Python and/or functional tests.
• Collaborate with colleagues by reviewing their code through Gerrit.
• Contribute to product growth through architectural development and creating detailed technical documentation for new features.
• Investigate and find solutions for reported issues from clients, partners, or the support team.
• Provide consultations and assistance to the 3rd level support team on matters related to KernelCare products.

Requirements:

• Possess 5+ years of Python programming experience.
• Have experience or a desire to work with System programming, including Sockets, filesystem, and process management.
• Proficiency in GNU/Linux operating system and shell scripting.
• Experience with git-based development processes.
• Knowledge of PyTest.
• Intermediate level of English language proficiency.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Jenkins is a plus.
• Experience as a DevOps or SysAdmin is beneficial.
• Experience with ClickHouse, rpm/deb package management, and understanding of C language are advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Flask and SQLAlchemy.
• Knowledge of NGINX.
• Quick learner, proactive, self-motivated, and determined to accomplish set goals.
• Ability to independently analyze tasks and identify optimal solutions.
• Skilled at collaboration and working effectively in teams.
