Description:

Teramind is seeking a proactive Senior Python Engineer to optimize large-scale integrations with third-party systems.
The role involves enhancing application efficiency, speed, scalability, and adaptability beyond just coding.
Collaboration with business teams is essential to align technical expertise with business goals.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Python and associated technologies.
The engineer will create and maintain databases using SQL database technologies and write unit tests to ensure code quality.
The position requires staying updated with emerging trends in software development, data processing, caching, cloud deployment, distributed computing, and API development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial experience as a Python Engineer utilizing FastAPI to build microservice/web architectures.
Experience with Docker or similar container management tooling is required.
A strong background in Object Oriented Programming and Object-Oriented Design Patterns is necessary.
Familiarity with open-source tooling and frameworks is expected.
Candidates should have experience building and interacting with various APIs, including REST, webhook, and websockets.
Experience in designing and building scalable solutions that leverage both relational and NoSQL databases is essential.
The ability to maintain critical production software and build new production software from scratch is required.
Familiarity or willingness to learn about deploying ML models in a production environment is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary, along with comfort in working with a cross-functional, globally distributed team.
