IT Labs is seeking a Senior Python Engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation.
The role involves working on a large, single-tier (monolithic) application using Django as the primary framework.
Responsibilities include building and optimizing backend features to ensure application stability, efficiency, and scalability.
The engineer will work with SQL and MySQL databases to manage and retrieve data, ensuring optimized queries for peak performance.
The position also requires structuring different components of the application, handling user requests, and maintaining smooth interaction between various parts of the system.
The engineer will develop backend systems using Python, Django, and MySQL, focusing on API development.
Frontend tasks will involve using JavaScript with jQuery, along with Django templates and Handlebars for HTML transformation.
The role includes deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
The engineer will maintain a monolithic application architecture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in Python, demonstrating a strong grasp of the language.
A minimum of 1–2 years of experience with Django is required.
Proficiency in SQL and MySQL for database management is necessary.
Experience with JavaScript and jQuery for front-end tasks is essential.
Familiarity with AWS or GCP for cloud services is required.
The candidate should work well independently, take initiative, and pay attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with team members and clients are important.
The ability to adapt easily to different client environments, workflows, and coding standards is necessary.
Experience with monolithic applications is preferred.

The position offers a long-term 12-month contract.
Candidates can choose between a Contract or B2B arrangement.
