Gorilla Logic provides nearshore Agile teams to Fortune 500 and SMB companies, delivering full-stack web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
The company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with exceptional web services and backend development skills.
The role involves working as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining client web and/or mobile applications.
Candidates will need to work effectively with teammates and demonstrate critical thinking, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and optimizing client applications, mentoring fellow developers, and collaborating with DevOps and QA to establish a quality-focused CI/CD pipeline.
The position requires conducting code reviews, testing, and delivering high-quality maintainable code.
The candidate will work in an Agile environment to define, estimate, and work on user stories.
Proficient English and communication skills are required, along with good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of backend development experience with Python.
Experience in writing tests using Pytest and Nosetest is necessary.
Proficiency in REST API design and implementation is required.
The candidate should be a self-starter and take ownership of their work.
