Description:

• Gorilla Logic provides nearshore Agile teams to Fortune 500 and SMB companies, delivering full-stack web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• The company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with exceptional web services and backend development skills.
• The role involves working as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining client web and/or mobile applications.
• Candidates will need to work effectively with teammates and demonstrate critical thinking, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
• Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and optimizing client applications, mentoring fellow developers, and collaborating with DevOps and QA to establish a quality-focused CI/CD pipeline.
• The position requires conducting code reviews, testing, and delivering high-quality maintainable code.
• The candidate will work in an Agile environment to define, estimate, and work on user stories.
• Proficient English and communication skills are required, along with good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 4+ years of backend development experience with Python.
• Experience in writing tests using Pytest and Nosetest is necessary.
• Proficiency in REST API design and implementation is required.
• The candidate should be a self-starter and take ownership of their work.
